Microsoft Excel 2016 - Part 1

Designed for those with no previous experience with spreadsheets who desire to gain the skills needed to perform basic day-to-day personal and/or job-related responsibilities. Students will learn the basic functions and operations of the Excel program along with the various toolbars and basic menu commands. Upon completion of this course, students will be able to create and save basic spreadsheets, apply basic cell functions to spreadsheets and print basic spreadsheets. The objective of this course is to facilitate the skills needed to create, edit, format and print basic spreadsheets. Because Excel 2016 for Mac and Windows are nearly identical, individuals running Excel 2016 on Macs are perfect candidates for this course. This course will be taught using Excel 2016.

This course will pick up where Part 1 left off and is designed for those who will be utilizing Microsoft Excel to perform job-related responsibilities. In this course, we will work with job-related forms such as invoices, productivity and order forms. We will also cover a variety of reporting methods for presenting data, including charts and graphs. Student goals will be incorporated into this course. Because Excel 2016 for Mac and Windows are nearly identical, individuals running Excel 2016 on a Mac computer are perfect candidates for this course. This course will be taught using Excel 2016.
