Get Ready for College Math

Brush up on your math skills before taking a college math course! Work on arithmetic basics up to Algebra 1 topic. This is a great class to build your confidence in your math skills for college or work. Move from "I can't do math," to "I CAN do math!"
Class will meet weekly on Zoom. Delayed viewing is available on an individual basis. Students will need a laptop, tablet or desktop (not a phone) with a camera and microphone as well as high speed internet. No textbook. Expect 2-3 hours of homework a week outside of class. Students who have completed our College Transitions Program and are still feeling nervous about math are encouraged to enroll. Students need to provide recent assessment scores, which can be taken with us.

Get Ready for College Statistics - Online

Prepare for college statistics with our unique online course! Get a head start on learning the terms, symbols, and graphing calculator. This online course is for students who have placed into college statistics or those who are retaking the class.
Class will meet weekly on Zoom. Delayed viewing is available on an individual basis. Students will need a laptop, tablet or desktop (not a phone) with a camera and microphone, as well as high speed internet. Ideally, students will either have a TI-83 or 84 calculator to use or online statistical software. Outside homework will be given: expect 2-3 hours of homework a week outside of class. Students need recent assessment scores, which can be taken with us. No class April 16, 2024.

Excel Intermediate

During this session, you will learn how to navigate multiple worksheets, save your workbook, create formulas, use functions, change the layout of your worksheet, and how to create practical worksheets. 1040 Income Tax – Maintain tax information that is very useful when preparing your annual tax return.

Grocery Shopping List – Quickly create a weekly grocery shopping list. What a time saver!
Contractor Estimate Calculator - Great tool for any contractor who has to provide estimates for customers.
Household Budget – Create a monthly budget of your household expenditures.

Excel Advanced

Take Excel further: hide data, split and freeze a window, create ranges, understand the name manager, use additional functions, copy and paste special, sort data, and learn the power of filters. Some examples of using Microsoft Excel as practical tools including the amortization table, 20 top functions companies want their employees to know, and pivot tables.
