College Transitions English
with Nate Berger
College Transitions English focuses on sharpening your writing and reading comprehension for college level courses. Develop writing skills necessary for short answer responses, essays, and research papers.
An emphasis is placed on the writing process: outlining, drafts, rewriting, and editing to a final copy. Fine tune your grammar and punctuation while developing your writing style and organization. Build your critical reading skills to pick out main ideas, arguments and common themes in college level readings.
Nate Berger also teaches college writing at UMA and ELL classes.
Please call us for more information: 207-422-4794. CT English is one course in our no cost College Transitions program. Students can attend in person or on Zoom; you do not have to enroll at UMA in order to take our College Transitions courses. Students are welcome from across the state.
