Electric 101: Basics for the Homeowner

Electric 101: Basics for the Homeowner Learn the basics in electrical theory, electrical safety, and electrical code (NEC 2017) pertaining to residential wiring and load calculations. This course will teach safety and allow the student to do basic device changes (receptacles, switches, dimmers, rheostats, lamps, lighting, ceiling fans, etc.). It will not equip a student to wire a home or to even wire a branch circuit. Class includes classroom time, hands on experience and a visit to a work site. No class 10/31.
