Whether you’ve been Adulting for decades or are just getting started, banking basics, spending plans, credit scores and useful tools and apps are available to make the whole Adulting thing a little bit easier. Join Steve Kautz from the Finance Authority of Maine for this 1-hour virtual workshop as we dive into some adulting money basics together.

We are happy to partner with FAME, (the Finance Authority of Maine), to present a series of free, virtual workshops on scholarships, planning to pay for college, loans, and financial wellness.

What is all that financial jargon your banker is throwing at you?  MaineStream is a certified HomeBuyer Education provider for HUD and Maine State Housing Authority. Your certificate of completion allows you to access special loan programs through MSHA, FHA, and VA and is good for two years. 

This class is offered to make you a wiser consumer, when, and if, you purchase a home. You are under no obligation to purchase a home. If you choose to, you are free to use any lending institution, real estate agent, or other professional. This class teaches you how to make good decisions about choosing the lender, real estate agent, and other professionals that will best serve your interests.Mortgage Programs - Information regarding mortgage lending is general. Please remember that each individual lender has its own policies and each loan program has its own guidelines.
