Fitness Walking (Tu/Th)

Want to stay active? Get into a walking routine! Join Kathy at the Sorrento-Sullivan Recreation Center for an hour of walking. You can saunter, power walk or speed walk. Whatever your pace you can do it safely. Meets regularly, and you can start and stop any time. Check out the new Age Friendly Sullivan walking path by the playground!
Cribbage in the Kitchen

Join us for a fun and friendly cribbage game every Thursday! Whether you're a seasoned player or just starting out, everyone is welcome. It's a great way to meet new people, enjoy some light-hearted competition, and unwind at the end of the week. This is a great chance to connect with other cribbage players in the community.
We will provide boards and cards. You do not need a partner to come and play. This is intended as a fun, community event – all are welcome. Don’t know how to play? We can teach you. Feel free to bring your lunch with you.

FAME: Planning and Paying for College
with Finance Authority of Maine
Do you have children who will be looking at college in the next few years or might you be thinking of returning to school yourself? Now is a great time to start thinking about the college financial aid process and ways to boost college savings. The earlier you start, the more confident and relaxed you will feel when it is time to apply for financial aid. Join Jessica Whittier, College Access Counselor with the Finance Authority of Maine for this 1-hour workshop as we talk all things paying for college.
We are happy to partner with the Finance Authority of Maine to present a series of free, virtual workshops on scholarships, planning to pay for college, loans, and financial wellness.
A zoom link will be sent 24 hours before the workshop. Workshops will be recorded and shared with you.
Basket Weaving: Maine Pack/Foraging
with Gin Randolph
Learn to weave this traditional, sturdy, medium-sized pack basket (18" X 13" X 10"). The pack size would be appropriate for a young adult or woman. A additional fee would be incurred for a larger size. Students will take the finished product home. Materials and hands-on instruction provided at the class for the basket only. No experience necessary. When you register, you will be given a YouTube link to view a video. Please watch this prior to attending class!
*Harness materials will be available at class for an additional $14 made payable to the instructor.
Fiber Collage Landscape

We'll create a fiber collage evocative of the hues, textures and atmospheres of our own coastal Maine or any other special place you have traveled. Everyone is encouraged to bring materials from their travels to incorporate into their collage.
